The Headford Lace Project, in collaboration with Tidy Towns and The Men's Shed, hosted our annual flax processing day on Sunday, October 9th 2022. Our guest spinner was Elizabeth O' Connor member of the Irish Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers.

The event took place in the Men's Shed and we used the processing equipment that they had made in 2021. The event was very well attended. Mary Ryan from the Tuam Herald was there writing a story for the paper. Ger put together items from our archive for display. The feedback was very positive from the attendees.
